work in progress — founding year
A Founding Year Partnership · Tri-Cities, Tennessee
Building a new standards-aligned Farm & Forest School for children ages 9–12 in the Tri-Cities region.
Foothill Frolic Farm & Forest School was created to provide children with meaningful learning experiences rooted in nature, purposeful work, community connection, and personal growth.
All guided through the Four Roots of Learning framework — Curiosity, Purpose, Community, and Growth.

Regenerate Education Lab is partnering closely with the Foothill Frolic founding team across every dimension of school design and launch.
Creating the learning framework and instructional systems rooted in nature, purposeful work, and community.
Designing project structures that integrate academic standards with authentic, meaningful work.
Developing hiring systems and identifying ideal founding educators who align with the school's values.
Aligning standards, projects, assessments, and documentation into a cohesive learning roadmap.
Supporting enrollment strategy and founding family outreach to build a strong founding community.
Developing meaningful alternatives to traditional report cards that honor the whole child.
early sketches of what we're building
This project represents the type of educational environments Regenerate Education Lab exists to support. We believe children learn best when they are:
Foothill Frolic Farm & Forest School is one example of what becomes possible when vision, values, and action come together.
